Doug has spent over 37 years in the financial services industry — as a senior executive at large and small broker-dealers, registered investment adviser firms, and insurance companies, and as a financial advisor working directly with individual clients and business owners.
Doug's vision for Oakwood Capital Securities has always extended beyond the broker-dealer itself. As the founder of the Oakwood Capital family of companies — spanning accounting and tax, wealth management, investment management, and insurance — he built OCS to serve as the securities infrastructure for a fully integrated financial ecosystem.
